Landing page - Center for Professional Develop...

WordPress has become almost a standard for affiliate marketers trying to use their blogs to promote specific products or building their lists. However, a blog is continually changing and adapting which can seem to make it difficult to have a static landing page for their WordPress blog.

WordPress has been the most common, one might say, even an SOP for every online entrepreneur trying to find a goldmine in the internet world. WordPress has become the widely used content management system to promote certain products and services. With this, we can say that WordPress has proven effective enough for the internet marketers to bring home the bacon.

With the constant change in blogging, no one can even say that the static page is the final and permanent one. However, you can create a landing page to your great advantage with some points to consider:

Delete insignificant content – There are distractions on a landing page that are not very significant. These are the sidebar and some advertisements that may not be necessary. These can distract and de-focus, so might as well delete while still retaining important content that can continue to allure your visitors as well as the search engine.

Create a landing page – Your landing page has to be so consuming and attractive to the visitors by providing excerpts of your posts, about 10 to 20 of them. Be certain that all the categories and rss feeds are there so that they will determine the essence of your blog. The landing page should be not be way ahead or different from the blog itself to have continuity. For this reason, as your visitors continue to work them through, they will relate everything together. Your landing page is the door. It is a showcase of your products and services, therefore, make it as inviting as you possibly can. Your visitors will have enough reason to stay on and penetrate your blog.

Let readers stay farther from your blog through a diversified landing page – This is such an irony, right? However, a strategy that keeps your readers at tuned with your blog without getting tired of availing of the products and services is always at your advantage. The landing page should be created to overwhelm so their attention is divided. Thus, you can sell your products to them and get to enlist them without having to let them leave your blog, just plainly diverting their attention, yet still resulting to your own gain.

With these considerations in mind, you will have a WordPress landing page that will lead your company to greater heights. Your visitors will surely keep coming back for more.
