Q: How do I get started?
A: Simple. Click on the signup now button at the stop to begin the process. During checkout, you’ll be asked for a domain name (this is the domain name you want associated with your account and hosting). If you do not already have a domain name, we can register one for you (only $11.49 per year!). If you already have a domain name, you’ll enter that and we’ll provide instructions for transferring your domain to our servers (recommended but not required). The checkout process only takes a couple minutes and your account, CMW files and hosting will be setup INSTANTLY after payment is confirmed. You can have access to your new site within minutes! If you want our friendly and professional support technicians to install your site for you, just check the box at checkout and they’ll get right on it. Q: Do I have to use your hosting?
A: The short answer is no you do not. However, it comes free with your CMW license subscription so we highly encourage it. The hosting is setup on the very same platform and servers, at the very same NOC (network operations center) that we use to run our million dollar businesses online. In fact, some of our sites are running on the very same server as other CMW subscribers, so we are 100% committed to our hosting being TOP NOTCH. This is NOT an area that we pinch pennies on, its the best hosting you can get and its free with your subscription!
Q: What’s the difference between default and funnel pages?
A: Simple. Think of default pages as what you would use for your main site area, they allow access to any page on the site from any page on the site and they represent your main site’s overall brand/theme, etc. Funnel pages are used for specific offers where you want to drive traffic into a landing page and down a very specific path, with no lateral movement (no or limited movement to pages outside the vertical path).
Q: What doesn’t CloneMyWebsite do?
A: While CloneMyWebsite provides an incredible array of features and services, there are a few things that we have found work best to leave in the hands of our clients. Here are some of those things. Web Design – we’ve provided an array of powerful built-in templates, but it’s up to you how you implement them. Content – no one knows your product, service or content better than you. Custom Programming – if you find a wanted feature that CloneMyWebsite doesn’t have, let us know and we’ll consider it. In the mean time, you’ll need to outsource any custom programming you need.
Q: What do I do if I have questions or need help?
A: Simply open a support ticket in your client area and ask your question. Or if you would like to resolve it over the phone send us a ticket asking about our very reasonable rates! Billing inquires can be settled over the phone as well for free at 888-404-1959. Office support hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm CST. Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: Easy, just let us know you want to cancel by opening a ticket in your client area.
